Río Chirripó Lodge is a stunningly beautiful retreat center in the Costa Rican mountains, surrounded by lush green cloud forest and located right on the bubbling Chirripó river. It’s a place of deep peace and quiet, where you can immerse yourself in yoga and meditation practice, relaxation, hiking, or just being.

After breakfast you can adventure out and explore one of the many nearby hikes, or you can chill out in a hammock, read a book, or swim in the pool. You might even want to take a dip in the fresh Chirripó river!

Before or after dinner you can soak in the outdoor hot tub, observe the stars, and listen to the frogs. There is a communal fireplace where we can sit, make music, and enjoy each other’s company. Some cute animals might pass by (such as opossum, agouti, or some colorful birds).

You are invited to join a longer group hike to one of the secluded private nature reserves high in the mountains, where the clouds pass through your hair and you hear nothing but the sound of the wind, while turkey vultures float gracefully above.
