I’m passionate about community building through music education and live music sharing.

I teach online didgeridoo lessons at DidgeProject, a program designed to use music therapy and specific breathing techniques for treating obstructive sleep apnea. The curriculum is tailored to meet the individual needs of each student, no matter their abilities or experience. Through tools of online learning, we are able to offer flexible time scheduling and connect to people around the world.

The didgeridoo is an Aboriginal instrument from Australia. Traditionally, didgeridoos are made from termite hollowed eucalyptus trees. Modern instruments are often made of local materials such as yucca, agave, other hardwoods, carbon fiber, or hemp.

Learning to play the didgeridoo can be a deeply meditative experience. It can create a profound connection with nature, improve our relationship with breathing, reduce anxiety, help cope with PTSD, or simply be a fun musical adventure.
